I am glad to see someone else editing this page now. I do have one question: Do you think "when the boy was just two years old" is encyclopedic in style? Perhaps "when the boy was two years old" might have a less emotive or editorial-essay tone? [[User:FOIA|FOIA]] 22:33, 18 May 2009 (EDT)

== Translation of "Юрист" ==

I just wanted to ask whether anybody working on this article (or even looking at it) has any expertise in Russian legal vocabulary? I certainly don't! But I do have fairly good non-specialist Russian, and I thought that Юрист (pronounced "yurist") meant "Lawyer". I do have some more detailed information somewhere about different terms for defence lawyer, prosecution lawyer, etc, but it's not immediately to hand. (Incidentally, I understood that "правовед" was the Russian term for "jurist".) My correction of the translation in the article was reverted by an Administrator, and he feels that "jurist" is the more accurate translation. So if there is anyone with expertise who could give a definitive answer, that would be great!
