Though some goths are Christian, some of them are atheists, [[Anti-Christianity|anti-Christians]] and even [[Satanist]]s. Often these non-Christian goths walk beside normal youngsters.  

A Goth much like any person belonging to a certain [[subculture]] is and can be of many different faiths and backgrounds with only small minority(often just Mall-Goth children rebelling from their parents;these children are not actually Goth though but [[Metal-heads]]) will claim to be [[Satanic]] generally that is only to incite fear due to ostracism from peers.  

Goth culture has its roots in music. It comes from gothic/death/punk rock and from gothic metal, which are very doomish styles of music, without hope and fun. This kind of music makes it listener melancholic. Also, many goths like to play [[role-playing games]] and especially [[LARP]]s. They play vampires and so on in these games. When they come to home, they can not stop 'playing' demons, because since they started the game, they are under [[possession]].  At least some subsets of Goth culture can be clearly seen as a [[cult]]s such as the EMO (see external link).

Goth culture has its roots in music. It comes from gothic-rock, which glam-rock influenced genre of [[punk-rock]], without hope and fun.Often the songs are fairly harsh,introverted and satirical in nature of many ideas though this dates back to its root in art-schools.
