For instance, the Arlington Independent School District in Texas, which denied students any opportunity to watch Obama's back to school address during school hours (as to allow the students to make up their own mind and not be swayed by bias portrayals of either party at a young age) shortly later offered to bus students to an off-campus event during the school day at which former president George W. Bush was speaking[2]. The district later apologized after realizing this apparent double standard.
