I find this picture to be a not very flattering picture of David Patterson, and therefore a not very flattering picture of what appears on this page to represent an entire race of people. I am inclined to agree that the picture is unnecessary and if it must remain, find a less rude, more relevant picture.

:: 1940s-era actress/singer [[Lena Horne]] is African-American with some Caucasian, American Indian and probably Latino/Latin American ancestry, but she's known in the black community as a black person.
