'''Thunder Road Group''' is a [[Democratic]] 527 [[PAC]] that coordinates strategy for several [[liberal]] groups; Media Fund, America Coming Together and [[America Votes]]. TRG is named after a Bruce Springsteen song, "Thunder Road," whose lyrics declare, "It's a town full of losers, and I'm pulling out of here to win." Founded by Jim Jordan, campaign manager for [[John Kerry]] and an [[attorney]] with a long track record as a Democrat "spin doctor." <ref>[http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6713 Thunder Road Group] Discover The Networks</ref> This group engages in opposition research and through TRG that the Shadow Party formulates its plans, dispatches orders to the network, and presents its public face to the world. They engaged in supporting a Democratic candidate in [[U.S.]] presidential election.
