There are positive aspects to public school culture and hard working teachers doing the most they can within the structure. Homeschooling benefits are given a lot of detail and a lot of attention and the case for it has been made. You seem to assume I think homeschooling is inferior to public schools. I don't. However I don't believe public schools are the source of all ills as this article makes it seem to be. I'm just suggesting some balance, nothing drastic. Keep all the negative stuff in, I'm not calling for its removal either.

I think that's a fair judgment, and have had both public (the majority of it) and home schooling, a couple of years.
