I have not pretended that the Cold War didn't exist. Nor have I pretended that Chile and Iran were not allies of the western alliance during that time, or that Chile and Iran had tried to withdraw from the Western alliance. You, on the other hand, are now apparently attempting to rewrite the history of this discussion. You made an untenable claim, and are now trying to backpedal without admitting you were wrong.
