The President's pronunciation of Pakistan (PAH-kih-stahn) is closer to the native pronunciation than the common North American Anglophone pronunciation of (PACK-ih-stan). I see no need to enforce an incorrect pronunciation. Similar, but common, verbal mangling occurs in the place names of Hiroshima, Souix, and Thames. --[[User:LincolnShuddered|LincolnShuddered]]
