the obscurity factor
I like real names, but there is also the obscurity factor. Here's my take on stage names and pen names:
* [[Mark Twain]] ([[Samuel Clemens]]) - He went by 1st, his pen name
* [[Lewis Carroll]] ([[Charles Lutwidge Dodgson]]) - he preferred the 2nd, his real name
* [[Madonna Ciccone]] - stage name is just her first name, but let's use full name for the article
