Hi - thought I'd just say good night to you all. Andy - you've got to deal with the 'ken' problem. Seriously, he's making you look like an ignorant intolerant fool. I maybe a liberal atheist who believes in evolution but you know what - One of the kids in my tutor group (I'm a teacher) asked if she could sing a song I wrote (Winter star - a secular Christmas song) in her church. Of course I agreed - but she also asked me attend the church to watch her. I went along - and you what - I mostly liked the experience. I'll never believe in god, jesus, allah, zeus, thor etc but I like it when people come together and help each other. [User:Jensen|Jensen]]

::Setting aside the fact that no true skeptic claims to know my name, the problem is the behavior of liberals and atheists. This is merely a case of bad news kill the messenger. But the immorality of atheists is going to be less and less of a problem in the world due to the trend of the [[decline of atheism]] in the world. :::It might be better to say that no true skeptic DOES know your name. Plenty of them claim to. --[[User:VTraynor|VTraynor]] 20:01, 8 October 2011 (EDT)

::::I was speaking to a non-Christian recently and he said that atheism isn't on the radar of all the people he is in contact with and he comes in contact with a lot of people. Of course, given the [[decline of atheism]] this is not entirely surprising.  Given the [[Atheism|folly of atheism]] and the decline of atheism, I would suggest to you that there are many more important things in the world than the claims of atheists. :::::Yeah, but I'm a Christian (CofS) who lives in Europe and it's very much on the radar here. It isn't declining either. It's taking over. --[[User:VTraynor|VTraynor]] 20:15, 8 October 2011 (EDT)

:::Europe is on the decline.  Maybe with increased global competition and economic hardship, they will sober up. Economically, [http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/2011/10/merkel-sarkozy-feud-over-how-to.html things look grim in Europe.] History teaches that when faced with hardship, men often turn to God. ::::The Mediterranean fringe is on the decline. I live in Germany (my Mum's German) and there's no decline here. And sadly, when faced with hardship, Europeans turn to the far right. It's already happening in France and Holland. --[[User:VTraynor|VTraynor]] 20:28, 8 October 2011 (EDT)

:::::Germany is probably going to be negatively affected by the decline of the Eurozone in a significant way.  Reuters reported recently: [http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/09/30/us-germany-economy-idUSTRE78T0QF20110930 Booming German firms cast nervous eye to euro crisis] [[User:Conservative|Conservative]] 20:53, 8 October 2011 (EDT)

::::::But Germany doesn't sell stuff to the PIIGS; we sell things to rich countries. The only way we'll be affected by the Eurozone crisis is if Merkel decides to pay for it, but the Liberals in the government won't allow that and nor will the Constitutional Court. The Liberals are a right-wing party here, by the way! --[[User:VTraynor|VTraynor]] 21:06, 8 October 2011 (EDT)
