Pathetic errors in article. There's just no excuse for this kind of ignorance.

There was no 17 year expansion. The economy was tipped into recession in 1982 by the economic actions of the new administration(Their 'push-pull' hypothesis); and as Dave Stockman explains in his autobiography, the recession would have been much worse if Kemp and the gold-bugs had had their way.
