:::::::::I have no beef with taking Paul off the list though. GFitz is right; he's not a real conservative. I just don't think his Middle Eastern policy has anything to do with that. --[[User:ArtWellesley|ArtWellesley]] 19:17, 30 December 2011 (EST)

::::::::::I think Ron Paul should be on the list.  No-one has a monopoly on the term "conservative".  Well-meaning people can disagree on exactly what actions are termed conservative or not.  He should at least be in the running for the award, even if some people don't believe he has the right position on some issues.  --[[User:DamianJohn|DamianJohn]] 23:57, 30 December 2011 (EST)

:::::::::::I think Dmitri Medvedev definitely SHOULDN'T be. Never mind that he's Putin's stooge; he leads a country that's one step away from a totalitarian state, protects Iran from sanctions and supplies advanced weapons to China. Just because he's tightened the law on advertising abortions - and that's ALL he's done; actual abortion law hasn't been tightened at all - doesn't make him conservative. I think some people around here really need to get some perspective. --[[User:ArtWellesley|ArtWellesley]] 08:44, 31 December 2011 (EST)
