A few years back I was reading a book published about 1910 (if I remember) on evangelism. This was at the start of the Afghan war. It had a pencil depiction of a gap in the Hindu Kush on the first page, saying Kabul laid on the other side, and Christ wouldn't return until the gospel was preached to the entire world. I felt so proud and hopeful, until I learned later LGBT was being preached by America in Afghanistan and not Christ. Looks like it may take a few more decades, if not at least another century, now.
