I don't know about the way you worded this. Bathsheba was still the wife of Uriah the Hittite after David saw her. In Matthew 1:6, the Bible says "...David the King begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;". After 1000-somthin years she is still seen-in God's eyes- as the rightful wife of Uraiah the Hittite!

And David did wrong in God's eyes when he wanted Bathsheba. There's just no way around that fact. So, the article should be about what the Bible says about this person, the acts that David did to claim her, and the punishment meted out by God as a result. Karajou 17:20, 10 October 2007 (EDT)
