- I graded your answers and provided commentary. It's difficult to give you a final score since you have multiple answers for certain questions, but you certainly did very well, and are clearly interested in learning more about the Bible, which is the key thing here. A few key things I should emphasize about the test. First off, as I mentioned, it's intended for teenage Sunday school students - not by those studying theology, or even those studying an intro Bible course in college. So the answers are "simplified" versions of what the full answers are. Furthermore, the test is written from the Christian perspective, not from a Jewish or secular perspective, and the answers therefore reflect Christian beliefs. --TeacherEd 10:44, 25 December 2010 (EST)
- Thanks for your time in presenting and grading the test, TeacherEd. As I explained in my responses, many of your questions presumed a fundamental or evangelical approach, which is not the only possible Christian approach and the alternatives are not only Jewish or secular. I am Catholic. I am Christian. I was not the intended audience for the test but simplified does not mean half true or incorrect. There are a few errors in your test that I pointed out in my answers and explained again in my responses to yours. But enough of this. I thank you for the opportunity to open the Bible and look at the Word today. I am mindful on Christmas that the gift of God's love for the world in sacrificing his only begotten son (John 3:16) would never have been without the miracle that occurred in Bethlehem that day. This is what we celebrate on Christmas with our family and friends in faith. Let us today be thankful for the birth of Jesus Christ, who through his Sacred Heart gives his divine love to all men. I am glad we had this productive discussion about the Bible, and even though we may disagree on some things, it's wonderful and certainly in the Christian spirit that we can have an honest debate. That's one of the things I like about Conservapedia - that even though it is obviously conservative, all viewpoints and discussions are welcome.
