I'm curious to see, as information is released, how well this works against hardened systems. I'm sure the U.S. military has considered this, but electronic systems can be somewhat protected. Of course, hardening of electronics is often based on the assumption that an EMP will be coming from a high-altitude nuclear detonation, which is something that cannot be practically or legally tested. I wonder if some of this is just hype and hardened systems (such as those found in C&C military sites) are safe, or if CHAMP has enough power to take out even those "protected" systems. If anyone knows more on this subject specifically, I would be very interested in their input. --David B (TALK) 10:12, 5 December 2017 (EST)
