Obviously America had nothing to do with suppression and atrocities done to leftwing movements. Neither did Nixon, Ford. Kissinger, Reagan, or Casey, as well. You need to include the fact that the military junta was supported by grain sales to the Soviet Union after the US terminated grain sales because of Soviet invasion of Afgahnistan. Furthermore the junta supplied military intelliegnce (satellite imagery) to the junta during the Falklands conflict, resulting in the destruction of the Sheffield. RobS^{Deep Six the Deep State!}`
