Talk:Favaism

From Conservapedia

While there are references to this on the internet, the CDC has no mention of it on its website. Interestingly, though, Conservapedia's article is the first result when I look up "favaism" on Yahoo. HelpJazz 19:28, 23 September 2008 (EDT)

Google wonders if I didn't mean fascism... Well, I would have suspected parody, but this legit site seems to give some credence to the term. Also, aren't the CDC primarily concerned with infectious diseases? Favaism sounds more genetic. -Foxtrot 20:19, 23 September 2008 (EDT)
Good point on the CDC. I don't think the article is parody, but I think some other name must be used for the disease, and "favaism" is just slang. I just can't seem to figure out what that other name is. HelpJazz 12:51, 24 September 2008 (EDT)

The condition is favism, not favaism.--Brossa 14:53, 24 September 2008 (EDT)

Ah ha! Now we are getting somewhere [1]. Thanks Brossa. HelpJazz 15:09, 24 September 2008 (EDT)
