Why the protection? I can understand that the name is wrong (it should be Frank Zappa instead), but it is quite possible to write a reasonable article on the individual without touching any copyrighted works. --Mtur 13:55, 11 July 2007 (EDT)

I guess because someone posted copyvio and there's no article to redirect it to. It's impossible to lock an empty article in mediawiki without using some sort of workaround. I don't see any reason why there couldn't be a Frank Zappa article (bearing in mind that I'm still kind of learning the ropes around here). AManInBlack 13:58, 11 July 2007 (EDT)

I personally am not a Zappa fan, and don't believe I could do the article proper justice. However, because a previous contributor plagiarized copyrighted material does not mean that the article should be locked for future contributors. --Mtur 14:04, 11 July 2007 (EDT)
