I am trying to find some Christian perspective on this rare condition so we can add it to the knowledge here. Any pointers? BHarlan 16:00, 13 January 2009 (EST)

Break the article up

Most plants, fungi, many fish and amphibians (I believe there are also a few species of snakes but can not recall what they are at this time) are hermaphrodites. If we wish to classify this as a biology term then we need to stick to some facts. Freud's mention should be listed in a psychological grouping and is not really applicable to this article since the term hermaphrodite is used to describe a physiological condition. As for the evolutionary stance, does anyone have a source? I have never heard that hermaphrodites are a problem for evolution.--Able806 16:46, 15 January 2009 (EST)
