1 Timothy 4:3-5

1 Timothy 4:3 specifically refers to meats, not water. This passage,

According to 1 Timothy 4:4 and 5 water can be blessed and made consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving: for then it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer

It is an extrapolation and changes both context and meaning. Given the controversy over water baptism, this passage should be either revised or removed, since it on its face is in error. RobSDe Plorabus Unum 11:43, 3 February 2020 (EST)
