Woefully inaccurate article

Look, I think Islam in its present form is incredibly misguided, but this article is an embarrassment and does not represent our aim for accuracy here at conservapedia.

Heres the thing - all civilizations go through their golden ages and their dark ages. This is clearly the case for the muslim world at the present time, but make no mistake - just because some editors here have an extreme bias doesn't mean they have the authority to block out the truth. Islamic scholars and scientists and their records are the reason why we have perhaps any recorded copies of greek/roman philosophy, history and other works. They invented and perfected contemporary mathematics. If this sounds offensive, then I would recommend anyone read up on actual history and derive the facts for yourselves. And any conservative who denies actual history isn't a conservative at all - this person corrupts our name and systematically tarnishes our reputation as a source of information.

Until this article is dramatically changed, this article is an embarrassment and legitimizes the complaints levied against conservapedia. Neocons are slowly encroaching and destroying the reputation of conservapedia, and being a conservative doesn't mean we have to become extremists - we can still acknowledge actual history. This article, in the current state serves no educational purpose.

That is a gross exaggeration. Greek/Roman philosophy/learning was preserved at Christian Constantinople as well in Christian monasteries. If Islam were really the repository of learning you claim, there would be no need for such frequent excessive boasts about its extensiveness. As it is, if what you have presented is the best defense Islam can offer, Islam is finished! VargasMilan 13:22, 17 February 2015 (EST)
