What is this, exactly? If it's in first person then it should probably be in the essay namespace, and if it's in the mainspace then it should probably be rewritten so it is not in first person, but an encyclopedia article. Either way, I think it needs to be moved, because the name is kinda wonky. HelpJazz 20:48, 17 March 2008 (EDT)

Well, whatever it is, I'm sold on it! Let's help Bert find a place for it. --Ed Poor Talk 21:58, 17 March 2008 (EDT)
Essay:Eye witness account of the downing of KAL 007? Also I presume this isn't copyrighted. HelpJazz 22:07, 17 March 2008 (EDT)

Guys, Thanks for your help! This seaman wrote into the website with this first hand account of the confrontation between the US and Soviet naval forces. There is some added information to what we had about the confrontation but the main thing it added was the fleshing out of the intensity of the conflict-almost-become-battle. that is the reason why I wanted it to be linked to the Harassment section. It is actually a paper that Don Downing submitted for his college degree. I have his written permission to publish as I see fit as long as I give credit. I really don't know where and how the article should be put, but I would like it linked to the KAL 007 article for the, as I said, "fleshing out". What do you think?BertSchlossberg 09:22, 19 March 2008 (EDT)

I must have missed this on my watch list back in March, but I still think the essay space is the best place for it. HelpJazz 15:30, 10 November 2008 (EST)
