Talk:Law and Justice
I don't think many American conservatives would find Law and Justice as conservative party if language barrier didn't preserve them from reading program of this party. The only conservative things in Law and Justice ideology are views on religion, abortion, homosexuals and some issues in criminal law, and even these things are just propaganda slogans rather than real program. When Law and Justice was in power they made a big noise about banning abortion, and then finally didn't support it (later leaders of the party said they actually support so called "abortion compromise"). They highly support concept of "social justice", "national property" (property of the state), progressive tax, nationalization of some companies (especially banks) and they're obsessed with defending universal health care. Cabinet reshuffle
New prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki changed his cabinet yesterday, and many media outlets saw it as an attempt to please the EU, as he removed several controversial (and very conservative) cabinet ministers who annoyed the EU, to say the least: [1][2][3][4] This could very well be in order to appease the EU, but based on some convincing reader comments at the bottom of the Breitbart article, as well as the fact that the justice minister and the proposed judicial reforms remain, it may not be to appease the EU. --1990'sguy (talk) 22:36, 10 January 2018 (EST)

Good op-ed on the PiS's policies and their connection with Polish history: [5] This might be something good to add. --1990'sguy (talk) 21:44, 14 July 2018 (EDT)
- The PiS wants to ensure that Poland's media is owned by Poles, but it doesn't appear to be having any success right now in advancing this goal: [6] --1990'sguy (talk) 15:13, 23 February 2019 (EST)
