Merge with Derry?

Surely must be done - but I hesitate to select the most appropriate name! IrishBeryl 16:57, 15 February 2008 (EST)

article title 'Derry/Londonderry' should do it. Sawneybeane 07:27, 16 February 2008 (EST)

why undo the merge/ go with the Unionist default? Rodney 15:52, 16 February 2008 (EST)
Yes, why succumb to unionist propaganda and appear one-sided? IrishBeryl 15:53, 16 February 2008 (EST)

The name was determined as Londonderry in the most recent court ruling. If/when the courts rule otherwise, it can be moved. 10px Fox (talk|contribs) 15:54, 16 February 2008 (EST)
Courts matter more than people? Not a very conservative outlook, I would say. That being the case, I guess Americans shouldn't do anything re: Roe v. Wade as the courts have already decided the issue. Rodney 15:55, 16 February 2008 (EST)
Given the sensitivites - which are mentioned in the article, indeed - it seems a shame to appear so one-sided, especially when there is a very easy, fair, balanced and conservative solution so close at hand! IrishBeryl 15:58, 16 February 2008 (EST)
The name of the city is correct on the article as it is for now. As I said, if/when the pro-Derry section of the populace achieve a change through the courts then it can be changed on the page. Don't start trying to spin Irish republican propaganda here. 10px Fox (talk|contribs) 16:01, 16 February 2008 (EST)
Fox is right. The correct name is Londonderry! The good God fearing Conservative Protestant citizens call it Londonderry. The courts call it Londonderry. This is a Conservative encyclopedia. This is not the place for Liberals to peddle their terrorist sympathies. WKirkwood 16:08, 16 February 2008 (EST)
That's OK. I concede. I'm just too much of a li-beryl, I guess! (see my user page for an explanation) IrishBeryl 16:09, 16 February 2008 (EST)
