Mother's diary

The idea that Beethoven's mother thought of aborting him is an excellent argument against abortion, which I applaud. However, it would be a stronger, if there was a quotation directly from the diary. Can there at least, Aschlafly, be a citation here. Sorry to be so cynical, but this is a movie and I've searched exhaustively for the diary, and all I find are references to the urban legend.
