Talk:Manasseh ben Israel

I'm guessing that this is the same guy as Menasseh ben Israel, though the death dates given disagree. Can anyone with a clue confirm this? If so I suggest a merge and redirect. --JimR 17:18, 5 December 2009 (EST)

A simple Google suggests they're the same - both spellings seem to be in use, but they seem to talk about the same person. Jewish Encyclopedia credits Manasseh with everything we say Menasseh did - though our article's so short it's hard to tell. Anyway, I can't find any reason to keep them separate. --EvanW 17:25, 5 December 2009 (EST)
