Manchuria has a government in exile, including an administration, national symbols, embassies, ect. and was a country before the Soviet invasion. It is as much a country as Tibet or any other place conquered by the CPC. JoeJN (JoeJN) 11:53, 5 January 2021 (EST)
Other areas with their own cultures that are controlled by the CCP are referred to as countries on this wiki. In addition, a country being a puppet of another county does not negate its right to soverginity JoeJN (JoeJN) 12:51, 5 January 2021 (EST)
Why does the Manchurian govt-in-exile use the Japanese name Manchuko? Doesn't that invoke some bad memories? RobSFree Kyle! 14:08, 5 January 2021 (EST)
I don't know. I suppose it is not our choice to determine how they identify. Part if it is probably the way monarchal titles work.JoeJN (JoeJN) 14:22, 5 January 2021 (EST)
That makes sense than. To avoid further confusion, maybe you should include that in the article.JoeJN (JoeJN) 15:38, 5 January 2021 (EST)
Manchuria is definitely a country. Check out these maps [[1]], [[2]],[[3]].Bytemsbu (talk) 16:07, 5 January 2021 (EST)

I propose we leave the word country how it is. Bytemsbu has provided a map from the time period before the occupation showing it as a country. However, we should expand the article as it is very limited compared to manchukuo and qing both of which only talk about points in its history. JoeJN (JoeJN) 16:56, 5 January 2021 (EST)
