Talk:Mozilla Firefox

The firing of Mozilla's CEO/co-founder for political reasons and the resulting boycott had a big effect on their business. He later went out and founded the Brave browser which is a fantastic browser.

Boycotts and buycotts can have a big effect on a business - especially for political reasons and a companies stock price. This is what happened to ESPN/Disney when they went heavily political. Get woke, go broke is something that happens in the market place. To pretend otherwise is to deny reality. I personally am a former Mozilla browser user but now I use Brave, Chrome and Waterfox. In the past, I also used Commodo IceDrago, Commodo Dragon and the Pale Moon Browser.. But I boycotted Mozilla FireFox for political reasons and due to the fact that many times the quality of services/goods go down when they focus on wokeness rather than quality.

It's a shame what happened to Firefox. I used to like the browser due to all the addons, but now the product isn't as good as some of its competitors. Conservative (talk) 09:34, March 14, 2023 (EDT)

Here are some recent reviews of Firefox: "Switching between tabs is slow at times. Updates can be troublesome at times, at times you can not open Firefox until the update is installed. As well as there is a big problem with firefox, some CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) animation can't load properly on Firefox, and older few HTML codes not work properly. I see more ads when i open any risky website , more its risky to get virus easily through them."[1] "In general it is a good software, besides being of a well-known brand, easy to use, the only negative point would be sometimes it crashes and the slowness sometimes. Something I really like about firefox is that it offers protection against various types of social media trackers and cookies, as well as being quite effective against cryptominers."[2]
For years, FireFox had a problem with crashing and being slower than the competition. Apparently, they still haven't fixed the issues. Get woke, go broke! Conservative (talk) 09:41, March 14, 2023 (EDT)
I just found out that the Opera Browser was bought by a Chinese company. So although it has not been caught having spyware in it to track your web movements due to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) forcing the company to do so, I am not going to take the risk.[3] I am hoping the CCP is booted out of power due to all the demographic/economic problems the CCP has caused which will effect the standard of living in China. If the CCP is booted out of power, I may try the Opera browser again. Conservative (talk) 10:06, March 14, 2023 (EDT)
