Talk:Nezalezhnaya
To understand the conflict in Ukraine, you need to understand the Ukraine word nezalezhna which is translated to "independence." However, it is not "independence" as understood in the Western context. Since 1991, it has been understood to mean "chaos" or "lawlessness", basically Ukrainian youth rebellion against all forms of authority, be it Soviet communist or the Church. That, mixed with latent and inherent fascist and neo-Nazis ideas among a small segment of the population that Soviet authorities never were able to stomp out (as they did in East Germany), a racist hatred of the racially mixed Asiatic hordes with Russians of the East, which has been fueled and funded by the CIA since the CIA's creation, and a history of perceived mistreatment as a minority going back to Czarist times.
My point is, the Ukrainian use of the term "independence" and Western use, are not the same thing. And this difference is the heart and soul of Western media brainwashing in the West. In the Ukrainian idiom, "independence" means neo-Nazi skin heads and football hooligans being free to act unrestrained against their hated enemies, political, religious, ethnic or whatever. They are no different to ideologies and groups (of whatever race) known in the West. The ideology has all the contradictions its predecessor 20th century Nazi party had. Only the Ukrainian independence movement gets funding from the US Congress, weapons from the Pentagon, training and combat support from NATO. RobSGive Peace a chance 19:09, October 30, 2022 (EDT)
