Young earth creationist scientists view

Can you not just put something a bit less unconstructive here? Something like the single sentence "Young Earth Creationists do not believe the Paleocene ever happened." ought to suffice.

And don't you think that eleven citations (every one of them leading to opinionated and anti-scientific websites) are a little excessive?

This page should be about the Paleocene period, not a personal disclaimer from somebody who clearly has a pronounced interest in contradicting its very existence.

(I'll try to put something together on the biology of the period presently, so that the page can have some actual content.) --Jeremiah4-22 21:11, 20 April 2007 (EDT)

I notice that you've inserted the same section into several of the other geological time periods too. Do you think this really adds value to the project? --Jeremiah4-22 21:26, 20 April 2007 (EDT)

Correction, fourteen citations... --Jeremiah4-22 22:26, 20 April 2007 (EDT)

This is not Wikipedia where the young earth creationist view is whittled down and eliminated. Conservative 22:33, 20 April 2007 (EDT)conservative

The problem is that you're not actually writing anything here in support of the creationist position, you're just posting a long list of links to denials (all of which are unsupported by any respectable citation) of the generally accepted scientific facts of the matter.

I'm sure you're fully aware, as a sysop, that such unsupported assertions and personal opinions aren't acceptable here (Conservapedia Commandments 1, 2 and 5). Why do you feel that they should suddenly become acceptable at a hyperlink's remove?

I don't have any problem with the creationist position being fairly stated, but could you please try to be more positive and more rigorous in your advocacy of it?

Perhaps you could even compose, in the interests of balance, an outline of the opposing, scientific school of thought? You must surely understand it well enough, otherwise how can you justify rejecting it so decisively? --Jeremiah4-22 08:08, 21 April 2007 (EDT)

Anyway, not to worry, I've made a start on putting an actual article together. --Jeremiah4-22 08:51, 21 April 2007 (EDT)
