Please do not remove text on how popoulation genetics relies on the current understanding of evolutionary forces, or how it has contributed to the modern theory of evolution/evolutionary biology. Whether you agree with those fields or not (or even whether the conclusions reached as a result are correct or not) is irrelevant; that population genetics has contributed substantially to, and is an integral part of, those fields is an irrefutable fact. --JHunter 14:26, 24 May 2012 (EDT)
