Talk:Rooster
From Conservapedia
Poorly named - Sysop, please move
Please remove the definiate article from this name. It would be painful to have to link to [[The Rooster|rooster]] every time you wanted. This is a significant deviation from the style imposed by mediawiki (yes, yes, this isn't Wikipedia - this isn't an issue of what is or what is not wikipedia, its about how the linking and search work - the underlying software). --Mtur 01:37, 10 July 2007 (EDT)
Also of note, the material about chickens should go in an article on chicken - the ability to have its head chopped off is not particular to the male member of the species. --Mtur 01:40, 10 July 2007 (EDT)
- Co-incidentally, I just came across this article and decided to move it, but then decided to look at the talk page first, and saw your comment. I tried to move it, but rooster already exists. However, it exists as a redirect to chicken, which had previously been named rooster!
- Rather than move this to Rooster, I think it would be better if the whole article was merged with chicken. What do you think?
