Interesting contrast between US and Russian military discipline: Surovikin, credited with building the Surovikin line, was relieved of his command after 12 pilots were killed in the Wagner mutiny, whereas after the Kabul airport bombing that killed 12 American soldiers, no one in the chain of command was held responsible for the failure.
