Talk:Soviet Union government
ASA
In 2005, I asked a Russian speaking native in Wikipedia if he could begin an article on ASA - Anti-Soviet agitation. His initial response was, "Would American readers understand it"? Over time the link with modern political correctness slowly became evident. Eventually cancel culture. But now we are seeing it full-fledged with strict punishments in the EU sanctions regime against its own citizens (Jaques Baud for instance) and the US-EU rupture, as outlined in the NSS25, and Hegseth's February 2025 Brussels speech. The WP article on Anti-Soviet Agitation is being cited more often.
