The Mosaic Covenant was never broken?
| “ | Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: but this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. | ” |
| —Jeremiah 31:31–34 | ||
| “ | For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: and they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. | ” |
| —Hebrews 8:7–13 | ||
Note that the Leviticus verse specifies "when they be in the land of their enemies." The New Covenant came into effect when Judea was still in the hands of the Jews in the first century. —LT Rev. 22:13 Sunday, 22:22, July 27, 2024 (EDT)
Not obeying does not make one non Jew
The land of their enemies is also now... Many Jews do not live in Israel.
The fact of punishment is exactly that. Deut.28... is also promises of punishment. Proverbs 3:12 "For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights". There us an extra burden on the chosen people... and maybe they're hit harder.
The very fact of extraordinary persecution is only proof of that, even further.
I'm not aeguing about his Christian believes and NT. Just pointing out LT's errors he has in the OT, including prophecies for this time in Axile.
Or this:
If any of thine that are dispersed be in the uttermost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will He fetch thee. Deutronomy 30:4 Telling (talk)

- Well, Telling, what do you think is Judaism's explanation for the cause of antisemitism? Throughout Old Testament history, did God protect the Jewish people no matter what, or was it conditionally based on obedience to Him? Did God protect Israel and Judah from Nebuchadnezzar's invasion of Jerusalem, aka what was literally an antisemitic attack? —
LTRev. 22:13 Sunday, 23:08, July 27, 2024 (EDT) - That verse has nothing to with today's events as there are no idol worshipping unless in Asia.

The same can be asked about slavery in Egypt. Also, the fact of extra punishments for was addressed above. But God always had an exit door for some Jews to escape. That was always in history. Throughout.
Now: I Kings 6:13 means God will NEVER abandon his people.
I would have had a broader discussion including about slavery in Egypt...were it not for the roll of attacks on history and on Judaism...(first attempts to link Kaballah to non related stuff, utter miss-interpretation miss-understanding at least twice in Genesis to adjust to politics, now this and other nonsense)Telling (talk)
- [EC] [EC] Well, who are God's people? These guys? These?
- I 100% agree with you that "God will NEVER abandon his people." The only caveat here is that you unfortunately misunderstand exactly who His people are. "Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." (Rom. 9:7–8)
- Attacks on Judaism? Nonsense; I'm defending the true spirit of Mosaic Judaism. —

Even though LT was being rectified before, but since he repeats samo samo nonsense. I will say it.
1. Re the TOI link, the picking out an extremist doesn't mean anything. Neturei Karta are as much Kaballah guys. Also, about that Hebron killer - he thought that Arabs in that mosque were preparing a big attack and had hid weapons in the mosque. I'm not defending him, and he is denounced by religious Jews - Overwhelmingly (kabalistic or not). just explaining the rational by those who do.
2. The train of children of the 12 tribes to be called the Israelites. Was never cut. Other children, not from Isaac were excluded as it was stated in Genesis 21:12 which relates to covenant and seed. In any case, a German or a Mormon from Utah or an Arab who convert to Judaism - are becoming as much a part of the nation, just as Kind David was a grandchild of Ruth the first convertTelling (talk)
- And I heard a Christian-Arab supporting that killer which LT mentioned, so what then? Yet, instead of having at least a tiny bit growing toward logic, LT still falls back to that rubbish. So, it was vegetarianism that "made" Hitler's ideology or his Christian upbringing he may say in the future... oh nevermind. Masonic/anglo/boogieman who run everything anyhow.Dianne3000 (talk)
- Never cut? Now sure, some ethnic descendants of Judah, Benjamin, Levi are still around today, but where's Reuben, Simeon, Zebulun, Isaachar, Dan, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Ephraim, and Manasseh? Why do you think the latter are called the Ten Lost Tribes? —

| “ | Rabbi Yohanan ben Zakkai attempts to bring the extremist “zealot” faction under control, pleading with them to reach a compromise with the Roman enemy so that they survive and the temple remains standing, but they summarily reject his appeals. Amidst ever-worsening circumstances for Jerusalem’s inhabitants – much of it precipitated by the zealots in order to force a military confrontation, and with no realistically attainable respite on the horizon, Rabbi Yohanan ben Zakkai seeks advice on how to escape the city from his nephew Abba Sikra, leader of one of the insurgent factions. | ” |
