I see that your church uses the same lectionary schedule of U.S. Catholic Bishop lectionary schedule (like 3 year plan on reading the whole Bible through). Today my church had a sermon on these verses too.

Now that I have the schedule of the Bible verses ahead of time, I am planning to study/memorize the Bible verses before the masses. I also take notes during the sermon/homily (If a professor's teachings are worthy enough to take notes on, sure a reverend's sermon/homily is noteworthy!
