I wonder if I should bother to keep picking this apart. They say they have radar tracking. Why doesn't anyone actually call up the radar operators on the phone? Especially when they know that the launches were not detected. How can they say, "Confidence is high?" --Ed Poor Talk 20:26, 12 March 2010 (EST)
- Let's stop playing games - American leaders have been stupid since Reagan - Trump said so himself. There wouldn't be a Make America Great Again imovement if not for stupid American leaders. To point out American leaders are or have been stupid IS NOT "anti-American" or "unAmerican" (unless you want to call Trump "stupid" or a "liberal" for calling American leaders "stupid").
- Granted, American leaders now are a cut above Kaja Kallas, Macron, Starmer and others, but that is a very recent development. And it always can go sideways again. RobSZelensky Must Go! 22:51, September 9, 2025 (EDT)
- And it's not just the Clintons, Obamas or Democrat liberals;
- It was the Republicans who granted most favored nation status to China that created the current conflict with China and "hollowed out the middle class";
- It was the Republicans who passed the "Patriot Act" that lead to FISA abuse and Russiagate.
- They used to say in Washington, D.C., "Partisanship ends at the water's edge". That's what led America to align with Stalin against Hitler and 30 years of war in Vietnam & Afghanistan (nearly half the natural life of us boomers). Trump, by calling out "stupid" leadership has 80 years of BS to clean up - which cannot be completed in the next 3 and half years. In the field of foreign policy, know-nothings need to just shut up. They sound like Kaja Kallas with their sheer ignorance of global affairs and history.
| “ | This is the battle of narratives for the Global South, and all the rest of the world, really. I was in an ASEAN meeting and one thing what was interesting you know that Russia was addressing China like "You and uh and like Russia and China, We uh you know fought the Second World War. We won the Second World War. We beat the Nazis". And I was like, "Okay, that is something new".
But then you can see first you can, you know, if you know history then you know it raises a lot of question marks in your head. But you know, I can tell you nowadays people don't really read and remember history that much. |

| “ | Everybody understands the role the United States, the Trump administration, and President Trump personally are playing in today’s global narratives. | ” |
