Merge

Wigan is an important settlement, beginning with the Celtic Brigantes, then the Romans and in medieval and Civil war history too. Its part in the industrial revolution cannot be underestimated. As the original author of the article, I also disagree. My aim regarding the short articles I am writing is to start to plug a lot of big gaps on Conservapedia in the United Kingdom (especially in England). The articles are meant to be a starting-point that others can improve on. I may come back to them later when I have written basic articles on other towns.Barclay 14:23, 12 January 2008 (EST)
