Template talk:Stub

If I recall correctly, I saw discussion here yesterday (I forget where) that we need a stub template again. What do others think, in cases for articles like List of Nintendo DS games, which are an incomplete list. Patriotic Gamer (talk) 12:43, May 30, 2021 (EDT)

We have Admins who create uncategorized, orphaned stubs. So of course new users see this and do so likewise. An Admin's job in fact is to help and teach new users to Categorize and de-orphan, among a zillion other things.

Orphaned, uncategorized stubs are inaccessible to Google, and nobody can find it once it falls off of Recent Changes. Additionally, it creates a problem with forks and Merges of articles with a similiar title cause others are unaware the Stub exists. So whatever the original author's intent, his efforts are wasted cause no one is going to expand the article.

Recently why looking into this problem and why it exists, I found this. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 12:56, May 30, 2021 (EDT)

Of course, the taboo on discussion for the past decade plus has not been helpful either in resolving simple problems. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 12:58, May 30, 2021 (EDT)
