ThreatFire
ThreatFire (previously known as CyberHawk[1]) was a security program formerly offered by PCTools. Rather than relying on malware definitions (referred to as fingerprints), it would attempt to detect malware based on activity alone. This program would watch all running processes (threads) and detect suspicious activity such as code injection and host file modification.

Threat Fire was compatible with
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP
- Windows 2003
- Windows Vista[1]

This program was discontinued on May 18, 2013, along with all other PCTools security software. On December 4, 2013, All of PCTools' remaining software was retired. The PCTools website now points to Symantec.[2]
Alternatives
There is not exact replacement for ThreatFire, but there are several security options which do watch for suspicious behavior. These include Spybot Search & Destroy and Malwarebytes. Both of these combined behavior based detection with definition based detection.
