United States Secretary of Homeland Security

The US Secretary of Homeland Security is the head of the United States Department of Homeland Security and a member of the bureaucracy; the position was created along with the department after the September 11, 2001 attacks. He or she is also a member of the President's cabinet. The third and incumbent Secretary of Homeland Security is Janet Napolitano.
