Bethany, you're the chief judge. You're in charge. Judges don't need permission from the contestants! :-) You have the force of law in this contest. --Aschlafly 14:19, 20 January 2008 (EST)

Okay! :P --~BCSTalk2ME 08:30, 21 January 2008 (EST)
Bethany. Is there going to be an adjudication of the contest results? The main page still quotes them as "unofficial". I'd like to know whether Eagle Team won "officially" or not. BrianCo 15:35, 23 January 2008 (EST)

For Masterpiece, please. --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 14:43, 28 January 2008 (EST)

Thank you so much for that beautiful material. --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 21:04, 7 February 2008 (EST)
Your welcome! :P ~BCSTalk2ME 09:04, 8 February 2008 (EST)

Contest 5

Hey Bethany, as you were in the judge in the last contest, I think your input in particular would be greatly helpful to the point system we'd use in Contest 5. I've made quite a number of changes already, mainly just point values, but I do think that it would be greatly helpful if you looked over it, so if you get time have a look! Thanks so much, --IDuan 20:15, 2 February 2008 (EST)

My User Page

My User Page is just that. My User Page.

At the moment it accurately records an event that took place recently.

It is likely that I will change it at some time in the future when I feel so inclined.

I have often observed Andy stating that censorship is not allowed here. I took him at his word. Perhaps you should too. --GDewey 18:58, 7 February 2008 (EST)

I know you disagree, as I do, with what GDewey says on his userpage. But one of the basic philosophies from the beginning of Conservapedia is that a User's page is his/her castle. GDewey is at the line of free speech here; he didn't say anything vulgar. If he would attempt to incorporate any of those opinions into a page, he wouldn't get far. --David Rtalk 19:06, 7 February 2008 (EST)

P.S. Dewey, the events you describe are influenced by your subjective opinion. They are in no way, by your authority, "accurate".

You may look the events up David. You know that. --GDewey 19:11, 7 February 2008 (EST)
I feel that, as a sysop, I should not allow ridiculous matters to persist. And that's what your block problem is: ridiculous. Grow up. Forget about what's done. It's done and you can't change the past. It's impossible. I feel that his page is destructive and tears down other people rather than building them up. ""Treat others the same way you want them to treat you." Luke 6:31 Thanks. ~BCSTalk2ME 19:12, 7 February 2008 (EST)
An extraordinarily apt piece of scripture in the circumstances. --GDewey 19:14, 7 February 2008 (EST)

The bread of life. :) ~BCSTalk2ME 19:14, 7 February 2008 (EST)

*cough sarcasm cough* --MakeTomorrow 19:49, 7 February 2008 (EST)
Excuse Me...were you trying to convey something. :P --~BCSTalk2ME 19:51, 7 February 2008 (EST)
Well, yes. I'm quite certain that GDewey's comment was sarcastic. That is, he was stating that if you would not appreciate the bowdlerization of your userpage, you should not do it to his. --MakeTomorrow 19:56, 7 February 2008 (EST)
I wouldn't mind it in the least! :P ~BCSTalk2ME 19:58, 7 February 2008 (EST)
Okay then… Erm… No offense at all intended, but I am of the belief that you would. --MakeTomorrow 20:01, 7 February 2008 (EST)
Then change your belief to the one that I wouldn't. I am firm in my beliefs and don't care what others think. :P ~BCSTalk2ME 20:02, 7 February 2008 (EST)
Then why is it protected? --MakeTomorrow 20:15, 7 February 2008 (EST)
To prevent vandalism. It has happened before!! :P Make all the comments you want about it on my talk page! :P ~BCSTalk2ME 09:04, 8 February 2008 (EST)

Image:Murillo grapes

Dear Beth. What was wrong with that image? --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 20:27, 10 February 2008 (EST)

It was not funtioning correctly. I tried to put it into the article of its creator and it didn't work. I had uploaded another one of the same picture, so I just deleted the other one. There still is a one which can be found under: BEM-grapes.jpg. :P ~BCSTalk2ME 20:33, 10 February 2008 (EST) P.S I did that to another one too I think because the name was really long and annoying to type. Hope you don't mind. ~BCSTalk2ME 20:33, 10 February 2008 (EST)

OK, Thanks. --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 20:36, 10 February 2008 (EST)
You were using: Marillo Grapes.jpg instead of Murillo Grapes.jpg --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 20:39, 10 February 2008 (EST)
Oh, *whoops* *bad girl, bad girl!* :P ~BCSTalk2ME 20:40, 10 February 2008 (EST)
A Young Girl Reading has already been used in Masterpiece of the week. Sorry. --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 20:43, 10 February 2008 (EST)
Ok. I wasn't sure. I'll replace it...I have a folder that I put images in for uploading and then delete the ones I have already used. So, no problem!! ~BCSTalk2ME 20:47, 10 February 2008 (EST)

CP:Deleted Page

Hey Bethany - I'm not sure if you're still working on this or not, but just as a reminder: Conservapedia:Deletedpage still needs to be protected.--IDuan 15:25, 13 February 2008 (EST)

Done ~ SharonTalk 18:08, 13 February 2008 (EST)

You have work

Iduan thinks that Johns Hopkins University is not good enough to be "A Quality new insight". He points here only: [1]

I think he did not see the whole history. As I spent a lot of time with this article I would like to have your opinion.

Please see Iduan's comments in my talk page: [[2]]

--User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 22:14, 17 February 2008 (EST)

Joaquin, I hate to say this...but I really don't think that it is an insight. :{ With the really doesn't fit the rules. Would you like me to change it or do you want to? :P ~BCSTalk2ME 09:48, 18 February 2008 (EST)

Never mind! It is already changed! :P ~BCSTalk2ME 09:49, 18 February 2008 (EST)

Hey Bethany - just to let you know it appears that the Masterpiece nominations are in - and now what your job is is to decide which articles are the best sourced, best written, best ... etc. - and then award the top 3-5 articles 'Masterpiece' status - and 400 points will be given to each user who wrote a 'masterpiece' article. Good luck!--IDuan 09:38, 22 February 2008 (EST)

Well, that's not entirely correct -- you don't have to choose any of them. 10px Fox (talk|contribs) 09:40, 22 February 2008 (EST)
Alright! It might take me a while though because I will read them in depth!! :P ~BCSTalk2ME 09:43, 22 February 2008 (EST)
Art also counts in this evaluation. --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 09:57, 22 February 2008 (EST)
It does? That's new - meh--IDuan 09:59, 22 February 2008 (EST)

I think I should cry foul and propose a penalty deduction if Team 2 continues to attempt to influence the judges and the judging process. Particularly as Team 1 graciously did not complain about unilaterally imposed, undiscussed rule changes once the contest was under way :P 10px Fox (talk|contribs) 10:11, 22 February 2008 (EST)

No comments to the judge is fine... but from both sides. --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 10:18, 22 February 2008 (EST)

How are we influencing the judge? Let's see, I just told Bethany about the masterpiece thing since, well, Andy & I designed it ... and then when Joaquin brought in pictures I merely pointed out that that wasn't in the rules - but it's up to Bethany to decide whether to do that or not.--IDuan 10:41, 22 February 2008 (EST)

And by the way Philip - there was certainly an opportunity for you to discuss any rule changes you disagreed with (an opportunity that I took advantage of, if you recall)--IDuan 10:46, 22 February 2008 (EST)
Increase in masterpiece scoring by 400%... that's a rule change, and it wasn't discussed. I found out from Sharon after the rules had been changed. To keep up with discussions of rules, one had to keep watching Andy's talk page, instead of the contest page where they should have been proposed... It doesn't matter anyway - Team 1 thrashed you, and even if the rules are manipulated to say otherwise, Crocoite, Sharon and myself know we licked you good :P 10px Fox (talk|contribs) 11:12, 22 February 2008 (EST)

Please, please! don't get vicious on my talk page!! :P I will take into accord everything in the piece...mainly the quality - I won't judge by size!! And BTW Fox: I really don't mind comments! It probably won't change the way I judge!! :P May the best pieces win!! :P ~BCSTalk2ME 15:06, 22 February 2008 (EST)

Do we have any "Sentence"? (Verdict?) --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 12:12, 8 March 2008 (EST)
See here. Team 1 came out first!! :P ~BCSTalk2ME 13:27, 9 March 2008 (EDT)
Thank you. Good work. --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 13:44, 9 March 2008 (EDT)

Not to be critical, but the original of this was correct. The capitalized WHO in "WHOm" is a reference to the World Health Organization (as per the article linked to the news item).--RossC 18:44, 10 March 2008 (EDT)

Ah! Thanks for the enlightenment. ~BCSTalk2ME 18:46, 11 March 2008 (EDT)

TruID Yeesh

Yea, I totally was not expecting you to be who you are. I guess I should have read your user page first, hehe. -_- Fuzzy 14:11, 14 March 2008 (EDT)

Totally!! :P Do I really appear that much older???!!! ~BCSTalk2ME 15:16, 14 March 2008 (EDT)
Not anymore you don't, at least, not with that many exclamation points. ^_^ Fuzzy 17:07, 14 March 2008 (EDT)
Figures! I am in love with exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~BCSTalk2ME 19:26, 14 March 2008 (EDT)
