Vanguard-class submarine

The Vanguard class is a British nuclear-powered and nuclear-armed submarine introduced in 1993. It replaces the Resolution-class submarine. There are four boats named Vanguard, Victorious, Vigilant and Vengeance. Each boat can carry up to 16 Trident II (D5) ballistic missiles.[1] [2]
