White Sands Missile Range

White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), the site of the first atomic bomb test during the Manhattan Project, is a United States Army rocket range in southern New Mexico and is the largest military installation in the United States, and is still in use today.[1] As well as a military base of operations, this site also offers a public museum.[2]
