The Zuni (As'hiwi) are a pueblo tribe, living in New Mexico with a population of roughly 10,000 people. They tend to be very protective of their religion, so not much has been written about it. They are by and large an agrarian people, and their religion centers around the Earth Mother, the Father Sky (or Father Sun), and the Granddaughter Moon. After contact, the Zuni adapted some of the traditional "Western, Southwestern" culture, and frequently have rodeos that retain both a religious aspect as well as a very modern secular aspect.

The language of the Zuni is not related to any other Native American language, though it is possible it has connections to the original Anasazi of the Colorado / New Mexico area.
