Kyrsten Sinema (born July 12, 1976) is an American politician from the state of Arizona and member-elect of the House of Representatives. She is the first openly bisexual member of congress; unsurprisingly, she has an extremely liberal voting record. She very narrowly defeated her opponent in the general election in November 2012, and is not expected to hold her seat for very long.
