Girls' Generation is a South Korean girl group that was formed in 2007. It is the most popular band in Asia. The band has nine members. The leader is Kim Tae-yeon. The band is known for coordinated dancing. They sing primarily in Korean, although their songs generally include an English-language phrase or two.
Two of the band's members, Tiffany and Choi Soo-young, identify publicly as Christian. Several other members are thought to be Christian based on the fact that they have thanked God or a pastor at some point. Tiffany is the band member who has been the most forthcoming about her religion. She is a Korean-American and was born in San Francisco.[1]
