LMAO, this article is so funny XD Schwarze 20:28, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

Then you'd probably find Sozhenitsyn's chapter on torture in the Gulag Archipelago a real laff riot. --PF Fox 20:32, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

Depends on the listener. One man's meat is another man's poison, etc...--Fingermouse 20:33, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

You know, chains, hard work, rape, electric chocks and all that stuff sounds creepy, but rap? lol Schwarze 20:35, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

It's not about rap. It's about sleep deprivation. --PF Fox 20:38, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

Oh, so rap isn't torture, sleep deprivation is. And i listen to foreign music all the time without going psychotic, it's not because of how "foreign" is the music.PWNED ABC Schwarze 20:39, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

Use any loud music to keep someone awake for over a certain amount of time and yes, it can be torture. I listen to foriegn music too -- but not turned up at top volume while I'm forced to stand for over 18 hours, wondering if I'm going to be beaten, or if the screams I'm hearing in the next room over the music are my sister or daughter being abused. --PF Fox 20:46, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

Exactly, but the article says that rap itself is a torture because it's foreign to terrorists, wich are complete lies Schwarze 20:47, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

No, that's not really what it says. It cites the use of some Rap music as an example of a method of sleep deprivation. That's not the same as saying rap itself is a torture. --PF Fox 20:56, 23 April 2007 (EDT)
Says nothing about being loud, or being deprived of sleep, or having to stand. All it says is it's Eminem. I agree, we should not impugn artists like Snoop Dog or Tu Pak by making the unsourced assertion that Rap music is torture; but do unlawful combatants have the protection of the Geneva Convention from beign subjected to Eminem? And why are unnamed whistleblowers so concerned about the image of the CIA, as well as ABC News, that they feel the need to alert an unsuspecting public. Curiously, Not In Our Name is silent on these horrors. RobS 21:00, 23 April 2007 (EDT)
