Uncertainty is an increasingly important concept in modern science and mathematics, which was largely undeveloped by the Greek philosophers. It not referenced anywhere in the KJV of the Bible, but does have this fascinating reference at 1 Timothy 6:17 in more modern translations:[1]

“ Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. ”
